Today I bring you the wedding of Gavin and Alyson. A fun filled day on the beach in the quaint town of South Queensferry at Orocco Pier.
I had been looking forward to this wedding after my initial meeting with Gavin and Alyson. They were relaxed but organised and knew they wanted the day documented with little fuss. My ideal kind of peeps so when the day came around and I was greeted with smiles in the morning at Bridal prep, I knew I was in for a great wedding. I was not disappointed.
Orocco Pier sits on the beach front, looking out over the Firth of Forth with the iconic Forth Road Rail Bridge in perfect sight. After a fun and emotional ceremony we headed out to the beach for our couples shoot. I often say to couples to "embrace" the awkwardness when it comes to taking your couples portraits. "I'm not here, just have a moment to yourselves" is something I say regularly. Gavin and Alyson were a dream to photograph. They certainly embraced it and we ended up with beautiful fun pictures.
After some hilarious but emotional speeches, we brushed the tears off our cheeks to get some low light pictures. The Forth Road Rail Bridge is illuminated and it would be a shame not sure capture it at night.
That's enough from me...over to The Taylors.
