Gemma and Peters wedding is one that I was really excited about as soon as Gemma's enquiry hit my inbox. 29 Glasgow was a venue that I had seen popping up on various blogs and I really wanted to shoot there, so when Gemma and Peter hired me for their wedding there, I was really happy. Things got better and better each time I spoke with Gemma. She was telling me about the little details they were having and that her dress was vintage beaded from Sarah Louise Bridal , this was all music to my ears.
When I woke up in the morning of the wedding, I looked outside to find it was a dull, windy and wet day. Not that this is unusual for Scotland but I had some shots I wanted to get in Glasgows City Centre that I feared may not happen.
However, I didn't need to worry. Gemma, Peter and their wedding party were amazing and when I mentioned braving the weather to get some shots outside the Gallery of Modern Art, they went out with smiles on their faces and embraced the weather that was thrown at them.
I cannot speak highly enough of Gemma and Peters friends and family. They know how to have a good time and the pictures below show that. The wedding band Yin Yang kept the dancefloor full the entire night and the atmosphere was incredible.
This wedding was definitely a highlight for me and I can't thank Gemma and Peter enough for allowing me to play such a big part in their wedding. The way they styled their wedding was beautiful and I would like to make a special mention to Little Botanica, wait until you see the beautiful bouquet.
