2018 has taken me over to the East Coast more times in the last 3 months than in my whole wedding photography career and I have to say...I have been missing out.
Jack and Lauren currently live in London (Check out Jack's company, Analogue Motion, they're currently absolutely smashing a Kickstarter campaign) but home was the only place for them when it came to the wedding. Choosing Lower College Hall in St Salvadors Quadrangle, St Andrews University for their ceremony and the quaint Crail Community Hall for their reception, it was bloody beautiful. It was one of the nicest days of the year so far.
When I pulled up to St Andrews University, I was shocked to see a massive parade of horses and carts and people running around dressed in clothing from an era long before I was born, shouting and firing guns, horse dung everywhere. It was strange. The ceremony was delayed 15 minutes so that the parade could move along as it was starting in the Quadrangle. An odd start to the wedding but definitely interesting.
After the ceremony we headed to Crail Harbour for some family pics and couple time before heading back to the the community hall, which was looking amazing after being decorated by The Country Garden Company, for some coffee and some tasty wood fired pizza which lead us into the crazy dancefloor antics.
A totally amazing wedding keeping the standard high for 2018!
Jack and Lauren, you guys are amazing. Thanks for my craft beers ;)
Congratulations to THE CHALKLEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
