It was an absolute pleasure being Sarah and Robert's wedding photographer at Airth Castle. It was my first time shooting there and I was not disappointed. We were spoiled with some amazing autumn colours and that juicy golden light that we photographers love.
As I arrived in the morning, Sarah and her bridesmaids gave me a warm welcome and it wasn't long before we were all laughing and relaxing in front of the camera. Sarah rocked the vintage bride look with a stunning dress and 50's style birdcage veil whilst her bridesmaids looked amazing in bold shimmering dresses.
I always love laughing in pictures, and there's a lot going on as you'll see below. The humanist ceremony was personal and hilarious and the laughing literally did not stop the whole day. I absolutely love couples who just let go and enjoy themselves. Throughout our couples shoot, Sarah and Robert could not have been more comfortable with each other. They were a joy to photograph.
A tip of the hat goes to Roberts 17 year old brother who gave a speech worthy of an Oscar. Thoroughly playing the role as the best man well, and going to the distance with trying to embarrass the groom as much as possible, he succeeded.
A huge thank you to Sarah and Robert for having me as their photographer. As the season slowed down for winter you guys certainly gave me a wedding to remember.
Ladies and Gentleman...I give you...Mr and Mrs Kilpatrick.
