Being a wedding photographer has GOT to be one of the best jobs on the world. Seriously. We get to witness the best day of peoples lives and give them memories to keep forever. We meet an endless amount of amazing couples, hilarious family members and crazy guests. We laugh all day with them, we hug them and on the odd occasion, cry with them (happy tears of course).
I wanted to do a "Best of 2015" style blog. Looking back at last years weddings and picking my favourite pictures. As I scrolled through thousands of pictures, I kept laughing and smiling at all the ones that would maybe not make it into a typical blog post. Then I realised that these are the kind of pictures that SHOULD be in the blog. It shows what weddings are REALLY like. It shows friends and family having a great time sharing amazing moments with the people closest to them.
I have mentioned before that I am extremely lucky to attract certain types of couples. My couples are cool and laid back. Their friends and family are too. They want the day documented in a natural and relaxed way. This is what allows me to get the types of pictures you see in this blog and I'm very grateful to all the couples who put their trust in me and keep me loving what I do.
So here's to 2015 and lets set the fun bar high for 2016.
