Oh How I love Emma and James so much. If there was ever a couple who are just so perfect together, it’s them. Effortless! I was so happy to finally see these guys married after the C word put a halt to their original plans. They scaled things back as at the time, there were still some hefty restrictions in the way but did it dampen their spirits? Not a chance. They made the most of everything. They got ready separately within the grounds of Strathyrum Walled Gardens (their original wedding venue) before heading into the city to say their I do’s inside the impressive St Salvators Chapel then making the short trip to St Andrews Old Course Hotel to drink and be merry with their close group of friends and family.
I met up with Emma and James for their pre wedding session in the Pentland Hills and straight away, I knew these guys were going to be so fun to be around. I could have spend hours upon hours with them that evening so I was excited to see them again for their wedding. The day was relaxed but you couldn’t help but feel the excitement in the air. They’ve been together since university and after a covid induced postponement, they were keen to seal the deal. They surrounded themselves with thee nicest people who all contributed to making their day so memorable and as luck would have it, we were treated to a juicy golden hour which you all know I’m a sucker for.
Emma & James, it’s no secret that I absolutely loved being your wedding photographer and I can;t wait to see you at another wedding later this year :)
Enjoy
