Charlene and Graeme | Radstone Hotel Wedding

Gaaaaaaaawwwwwd this was a good wedding. Looking back through Charlene and Graeme's wedding pictures in preparation for this blog post was a lot of fun. I had met Charlene and Graeme at a couple of weddings previously so it was great when they asked me to photograph their wedding and the wedding day did not disappoint.

As I often book up pretty early, it can be quite a long time between booking and meeting up to chat through a couples wedding so when we met up on a summers night last year to chat about their day it was so good to see them again and as always, they were super chilled and excited about having all their friends and family together for the big day.

The Radstone Hotel holds a special place in my heart. It's where I shot my first EVER wedding, back in 2011. It's changed owners a couple of times since then and had a few refurbishments to the interior and exterior of the venue. Seeing it again, looking like a completely different venue (for the better I may add), was great and I loved making use of their new outdoor courtyard.

I was hyped up about their wedding for a couple of reasons. The main reason being I had a gut feeling that it was going to be a friggin' good day and also because there was going to be a few couples whos's wedding I'd shot before and couple's who's weddings are still to come. It's always good to see everyone again.

As expected, the wedding was absolutely freakin' fantastic. Charlene looked jaw droppingly good in her dress, Greame was the true gent as always, everyone had an amazing time and I worked with some amazing suppliers. A special shout out goes to the girls at Mokha as they stepped in at the last minute to save the day, taking over Hair duties after a complication meant the previous hair dresser couldn't make it.

Wanna hear something super cute? Charlene and Graeme are childhood sweethearts. They have been together for a loooong time and you could see just how much it meant to them to seal the deal and become Mr & Mrs. You will see Greame's teary reaction to seeing Charlene walk down the aisle later. If there's ever a reaction us photographers want from a groom seeing his bride for the first time, this was it...and don't even get me started on the moment Charlene's father saw her in her dress. Tears and snotters anyone? OKAY THEN!!!!!!!! I'm not crying, you're crying!

OK, less jibbering and more moments. Thank you so much to The Hunters for having me play a role in your wedding. You are both the lovliest, most genuinely nice people and it was an honour to be your photographer.
