Photographing a friends wedding is special for a number of reasons.
Reason 1 - You feel that extra connection to the couple.
Reason 2 - Guests also tend to know you so are even more comfortable with you buzzing around taking pictures.
Most importantly, Reason 3 - You can get drunk.
David and Nyree are 2 very close friends of mine, so to photograph their wedding was special. The wedding took place near Nyree's home town of Saline, Fife. A place called Forrester Park Resort. A venue I had never heard of and I'm happy to say is a fantastic venue for photographers. Situated at a Golf Course, it has vast landscapes and beautiful greenery as well as a very charismatic ceremony room similar to that of an old country manor. What made it even more amazing was the course golf pro whizes you around in golf carts to take you to different parts of the course, and his loyal dog runs along beside you the whole time.
